I love the way lamb tastes when prepared on the grill. I have used two Alton Brown methods now and am going to try something by The Great One soon. Just not interested in shelling out so much for a leg all that often. It was much more reasonable at the Dutch Country Market in Laurel.
I really think they need to come up here at least once a month.
They laughed at me when I suggested it. Oh well.
So, here are a couple shots from the Christmas supper. The sauce was a Pomegranate Molasses which I made. Full of yum.
Allie has me on a tight leash regarding food, so future meals will be different. I'm still gonna sneak in some stuff from my book, but not as often.
Here's to hoping I update more often!
Pretty pleased with my trimming. Not a lot of meat left on the bone.
Wrapped with the molasses and waiting for coals to heat.
About halfway through the cooking. Had to use a lot of heat to compensate for outside air temp.
Yeah. Short sleeves, grilling, snow. On Christmas. Love it.
Resting after a long time on the grill
Christmas supper. Done.
